LISA HANSEN - B.ED (Sound Connections Manager/Instructor
at Red Deer Centre)

With a dream of being a teacher from a very young age, Lisa graduated from the University of Alberta in 2001 with a Bachelor of Education Degree. With a passion for travel and a desire to broaden her experience by teaching abroad, she moved to Shanghai, China. There she taught at an International School, teaching Grades 3, 4 and 5, became the Curriculum Coordinator, and head of year 5

After 6 great years in Shanghai, Lisa decided to move to Singapore where she taught Grade 3 at a British International School for 2 years. Lisa returned home to Canada after 8 years abroad and still looking for adventure, she became the manager and a licensed instructor of the first independent Sound Connections Centre in 2010

Annette and Richard Rogers have now given Lisa the amazing opportunity to open her very own Sound Connections Centre which is now open in Red Deer, Alberta. There she will continue to bring out the very best in her students.
